About Eon Wind

Eon WindElectric is a Canadian wind energy consulting company with offices in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. We are a specialized group of engineers and technicians offering services in distributed energy projects as well as larger wind farm installations.

For distributed energy projects, our philosophy is to work closely with businesses, communities and co-operatives to help them achieve their energy goals. We can determine which turbines (if any) make the most sense and then lead the turbine procurement and installation process.

For developers of wind farms we offer a cost effective alternative to expensive turnkey contractors. Our principals have a long history of project management. We have proven wind farm installation experience that is sometimes lacking in larger, turnkey contractors.

Our service experience allows us to diagnose mechanical and electrical turbine issues and solve them in a timely manner. We have resolved technical issues with inverters, transformers, yaw motors, pitch motors, damaged blades, bearings, PLCs, internet communications, hydraulic systems, belt tensioners and other turbine systems.
