Eon WindElectric is a Canadian based company with offices in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador. We have in-house electrical, mechanical, civil and environmental engineers and offer wind energy services from concept to completion.

Paul Pynn, President
Paul Pynn has been active in the wind industry for more than 13 years. His early work focussed on turbine design, standards development and installations. With the founding of Eon WindElectric, Paul was able to combine his technical background with an entrepreneurial passion to help lead the company to becoming one of Eastern Canada’s leading wind energy service providers.
Prior to founding Eon, Paul spent 6 years in a leadership role at Atlantic Orient Canada (now Seaforth Energy). With AOCI, Paul was involved in design and development of the AOC 15/50 wind turbine as well as managing installations in Canada, USA, US Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, England, Ireland, Scotland and India.
Before becoming involved in the wind energy industry, Paul was involved in several multi-million dollar construction projects. Paul holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Memorial University (1995) and a certificate of electronics technology (2005).
Paul is a past member of the CSA/IEC wind turbine standards committee, various Canadian Wind Energy Association committees, the APENS Environment Committee and regularly presents at international wind energy conferences.
Phillip Hollett, VP
Phillip Hollett is a professional engineer (electrical) with over 17 years of experience in innovative projects and R&D. Leading both business and technical development for Eon, his experience ranges from wind farm and substation construction to operations management and detailed electronic design.
During Phil’s previous career he designed microprocessor based control systems to interface with diverse systems including High Voltage power supplies, motors, blowers, rf pallets, LCD displays and touchscreens. He has designed for environments that include temperature extremes, mechanical vibration, the presence of AC noise, and the presence of drooping and unreliable AC power.
Phil is a registered professional engineer in both Newfoundland and Ontario. He has a Masters in Business Administration.
